Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website and job board platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use this platform. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Nature of Services

We provide an online platform that enables:

  • Employers to post job opportunities
  • Employers to view and connect with candidates
  • Candidates to create profiles and apply for roles

We act as a platform provider only.
Use of the job board does not constitute recruitment, selection, or candidate matching services.
Any recruitment or talent sourcing services are provided separately under a distinct written agreement.

User Accounts

To access certain features, users may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep login details secure
  • Notify us of any unauthorised access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion where there is misuse or breach of these Terms.

Employer Obligations

Employers agree that:

  • All job postings are accurate, lawful, and not misleading
  • Job advertisements comply with applicable laws, including employment and anti-discrimination laws
  • Content must not be false, offensive, discriminatory, or fraudulent

We reserve the right to remove or refuse any job listing without notice.

Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates agree that:

  • All information provided is accurate and truthful
  • Profiles and CVs do not contain misleading or false information
  • Use of the platform is professional and lawful

We do not verify candidate information and make no representations as to its accuracy.

Fees and Payment

Access to the job board for browsing and applying to roles is free for candidates. Employers agree that:

  • Job postings and related services are provided on a paid basis, via the purchase of job posting credits or packages
  • All fees must be paid in advance
  • Pricing is as displayed on the platform at the time of purchase, and is shown [inclusive/exclusive] of VAT
  • Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card details
No Refund Policy

All fees paid for job postings and related services are strictly non-refundable. By purchasing a job listing, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The service is deemed to have commenced immediately upon payment and/or publication of the listing 
  • No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
    - Withdrawal of a job listing 
    - Early removal of a listing 
    - Lack of applications or unsuitable candidates 
    - Change in hiring requirements 
    - Failure to hire a candidate
No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee:

  • The number or quality of applications
  • That any role will be filled
  • That candidates are suitable for any position

All hiring decisions remain the sole responsibility of the employer.

Candidate Data and Data Protection

Employers agree that:

  • Candidate data will be used solely for recruitment purposes
  • All use of personal data will comply with applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR
  • Personal data will not be misused, shared, or retained unlawfully 

Employers act as independent data controllers in relation to candidate data accessed via the platform. Use of the platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy 

Platform Role and Limitation

We act as an intermediary platform only and:

  • Do not vet or verify employers or candidates
  • Do not participate in hiring decisions
  • Do not endorse or recommend any users

We are not responsible for:

  • Any employment decisions
  • Any agreements between employers and candidates
  • Any disputes between users
Recruitment Services (Separate Engagement)

We may offer recruitment and talent sourcing services as a separate offering. However:

  • These services are not included in the job board
  • They are provided only under a separate written agreement
  • No recruitment services are deemed to be provided through use of the platform alone
Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes
  • Post misleading, false, or discriminatory content
  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems
  • Introduce malicious or harmful material
Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including branding, text, and design, is owned by or licensed to Corporates & Professionals CIC.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent.

Right to Remove Content and Suspend Access

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove or edit job listings
  • Suspend or terminate user accounts
  • Restrict access to the platform

Where we believe there is:

  • A breach of these Terms
  • Misuse of the platform
  • Legal or regulatory risk
Website Availability

We do not guarantee that the platform will be:

  • Uninterrupted
  • Error-free
  • Free from technical issues

Access may be restricted or suspended for maintenance, updates, or security reasons.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of business, revenue, or profits
  • Hiring outcomes or recruitment decisions
  • Accuracy of job listings or candidate information
  • Any indirect or consequential loss

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any liability that cannot be excluded by law
Third-Party Links

The platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, services, or practices.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court or regulator, that provision shall be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Corporates & Professionals CIC in relation to your use of the platform, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will take effect upon publication. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
